Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

DealProp ("we," "us," "our") provides property management software to property managers, their tenants, and their owners. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the DealProp platform at dealprop.pro and any associated services.

2. Information we collect

Account data: name, email, phone number, organization, and authentication credentials when you sign up or are invited to an account.

Property and tenancy data: addresses, units, lease terms, rent amounts, security deposits, and tenant contact information that property managers enter into the platform to operate their business.

Financial data: rent payments, bank account details (tokenized via our payment processor — DealProp never stores raw bank or card numbers), transaction records, and ledger entries.

Operational data: maintenance work orders, vendor assignments, messages, and uploaded photos.

Usage data: standard server logs (IP, timestamp, request path) and error reports via Sentry, used to keep the service healthy.

3. How we use it

We use the data property managers, tenants, and owners enter to operate the platform: collect rent, dispatch maintenance, generate statements, and provide the tenant and owner portals. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

4. Who can see what

Property managers see only their own organization's records. Tenants see only their own lease, payment history, and maintenance requests. Owners see only the properties their property manager has linked to them. Vendors see only the work orders assigned to them.

These boundaries are enforced at the database level via Row Level Security in addition to application-layer checks.

5. Third parties

We use Stripe Connect for payments, Tilled for subscription billing, Telnyx for SMS and voice, Resend for transactional email, Supabase for managed Postgres, Vercel for hosting, Sentry for error monitoring, and Doppler for secrets management.

6. Retention

We retain account and operational records for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain records for 90 days to allow for export, then delete them on request. Some financial records may be retained longer where required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes).

7. Your rights

You can export your data, correct it, or request deletion at any time. For account holders this is built into the app. For tenants or owners with portal access, request via your property manager or email support@dealprop.pro.

8. Security

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Authentication uses modern session tokens (BetterAuth). Continuous backups with point-in-time recovery.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders before they take effect.
