Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using DealProp ("the Platform"), operated by Cortex Automations, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. What DealProp is
DealProp is a property management software platform. It enables property managers to administer rental properties: track tenancies, collect rent, dispatch maintenance, manage vendors, produce owner statements, and operate trust accounting where applicable. The Platform provides portals for property managers, tenants, owners, and vendors.
DealProp is a software service, not a property manager, broker, lender, escrow agent, or fiduciary. We provide tools; the property manager remains responsible for their own operations and regulatory compliance.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account.
4. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are month-to-month unless otherwise stated. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. We do not auto-renew you onto a longer term.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing paying accounts.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Platform to violate any law, infringe any third-party right, or interfere with other users. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data or to the Platform infrastructure.
6. Your data
You own the data you upload. You grant DealProp a limited license to host, process, and display your data solely to operate the Platform on your behalf.
7. Payments processed through the Platform
When tenants pay rent through DealProp, funds are processed by our payment processor and routed in real time to the relevant merchant accounts (operating, trust where applicable, and DealProp's fee merchant). DealProp does not hold or commingle funds.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms. On termination we will allow 90 days for data export before deletion, subject to any legal retention requirements.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DealProp is not liable for consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, except as required by applicable law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Cortex Automations is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders before they take effect.
